Business Headshots Breakdown

The power of having unique business headshots has become increasingly apparent. I have so much fun getting creative with headshots to really communicate personality and what makes you unique. AFP offers a few types of venues for headshot sessions that really impact your end result and your total experience getting headshots—because it can be a fun experience, it doesn’t have to be like pulling teeth.

Outdoor Business Headshots

I don’t get tons of outdoor headshot sessions, but they always create a gallery like no other. Outdoor sessions are really all about the weather. Nailing the perfect lighting is my biggest focus! Making the most of natural light is kiiiiinnnnnndddddddaaaaa my thing. Indoors or out, having a strong understanding of natural light is a big part of my style as a photographer. I want to use that natural light to help you shine.

If your vibe is the streets of downtown, smiling with the rooftop skyline, green and earthy, or all things outdoorsy—outdoor business headshots are for you!

Studio Headshots

Taking headshots at my studio in Lacon, Illinois is a great option for the clean and classic headshot. It’s great for anyone not quite ready for a full branding session, but still wants to show up online as polished and authentic.

Whether its an upgrade from that 90’s headshot or a more genuine version of the stiff, bland headshot that everyone seems to have, I’ve got you covered.

These are not your typical headshot sessions, where you sit and smile and turn slightly this way and that. I am going to give you more than “one” photo. I want you to have variety and find a photo that you ACTUALLY LOVE. I will create a mix of a few typical headshots + mix in a few artsy style ones.

You should feel confident adding your headshot to your email signature, marketing materials, changing your profile photo, or even plastered all over for sale signs.

I have a variety of colored backgrounds (from subtle tans to bright pinks) for you to choose one or two from that fit your brand or style. Let’s get you in the studio for a weekday morning shoot and give you some photos of yourself that feel like the professional version of you that you are excited to share with the world.

On-Site Headshots

A new option for business headshots that have TOTALLY taken off this year are on-site headshots! This is a great option for companies with teams! Salons, realtor teams, or even large companies! I will travel to you (white backdrop in tow), and get photos of each of your team members—no one will be able to complain about their photo now (and you can sit back, relax, and know you are doing the best for your team)!

Whether your business as 10 employees or 100, on-site headshots are a great way to get uniform headshots for your team without the stiff and dated headshot with harsh lighting that everyone secretly hates.

You probably either don’t have ANY headshots of your team members, or you have outdated or over-casual (I’m looking at you, iPhone photos) photos for your employees.

Either way, it’s time to upgrade and create professional, cohesive headshots for your company. Celebrate your team and show them off!

Pricing is custom for each business—inquire through my contact form for a quote!

Profile Photo

I know I am waaaaayyyyyyyy more likely to follow someone back or interact with them on socials if their profile photo shows them as a kind, open, capable professional. These days, knowing who to trust on the internet is almost entirely instinctual. Give them a strong first impression to show you are worth trusting.
